  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Career Path Screen

Managers use the Career Path screen to view the current, past and pending Career Paths of direct reports. Managers can perform additional actions, such as creating new career paths, activating or deactivating a Career Path, or adding jobs to a Career Path. As an Employee use the My Career Path screen to see the career path that you and your manager have laid out for you. Depending on permissions, employees may have access to actions such as requesting a job be added to their career path, or viewing the job profile.

A Career Path is a roadmap to a higher position within the organization, made up of different positions that you will need to occupy to attain your ultimate job.

Employees access their Career Path information from the Career Center menu (Career Center > Career Development

Managers access an employee's Career Path information from the My Employees menu (My Employees > My Employees.

If your firm uses the Continuous Feedback feature and has enabled the Career Path tab, Career Path options are available for managers and employees from within a Continuous Feedback session.
