Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Select a Product Type (Classic Workspace)

In the Project Elements pane of the classic workspace, select a product type element to load its properties onto the element form for viewing and modification.

This selection enables you to perform actions with the product type such as adding it to or removing it from the project.

To select a product type:

  1. Open a project in the classic project workspace.
  2. In the Categories pane of the classic workspace, select a project category.
  3. In the Project Elements pane, filter the list of elements to use either UniFormat or MasterFormat for your project.
    You can also search for a product type.
  4. Select the parent elements for your desired tree path based on your active format:
