Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Filter Project Elements by Category (New Workspace)

In the Assemblies view of the new workspace, filter the project elements in the Elements panel based on building category. This enables you to view related elements that you want to work on for your project.

To filter project elements by category:

  1. Open a project in the new workspace.
  2. In the new workspace, click (Elements Panel).
  3. In the Elements panel, click Assemblies to use Assemblies view/UniFormat®.
  4. Click (Category).
  5. In the Category panel, select a discipline in the Discipline field.
    Note: The Discipline field has no label and its default value is All Disciplines.
  6. In the Categories list, click a category.
    To select all categories and disciplines, click All Categories.
    The Elements panel displays with only elements that fit your selected category.
