Activate or Inactivate a Paragraph (Office Master)

Activate a paragraph to enable modifications for the paragraph and show its specification contents in the preview and output. Inactivate it to disable modifications and temporarily hide its specification contents.

When you activate or inactivate a paragraph, multiple rules apply and Specpoint automatically makes adjustments to related contents.

To activate or inactivate a paragraph in an office master:

  1. In the Office Master dashboard, click an office master family or versionthat you want to modify.
    The Office Master workspace displays with your selected family or version.
  2. In the MasterSpec Elements pane, select a family or section.
  3. On the element form, click the General or Execution tab.
  4. On your selected tab, click an article to expand it and show the paragraphs that are under it.
  5. Locate the paragraph that you want to activate or inactivate and hover over that paragraph.
  6. Click (activate content) or (inactivate content) to show or hide the paragraph depending on its current state.
