Standard Service Requests

You can submit requests for the following services using the Deltek Support Center site:

  • Activate Azure SSO - If you would like to activate Azure SSO for your DFME solution please use this Service Request. You will need to perform the setup in Azure before submitting the request. Please see the Azure Single Sign-On for DFME section for more details.
  • Administrator Password Reset — If you lose or forget the password for your SaaS Administrator account, you (the SaaS Administrator) can submit a request for a password reset. When you submit a password reset request, you must include the user ID for the account that needs the password reset.
  • Copy Custom Universe to Test/Sandbox (DFME Only) — This request is not applicable to DFME Flex Customers. Custom Universes are created by a Consultant if agreed and required during implementation or post-implementation through arrangement with your Account Manager. Such custom universes are created by the Consultant offline in a non-cloud BO instance. This request is used to add the universe to the Test/Sandbox environment ready for your testing.
  • Custom Report Upload (DFME Only) — This request is not applicable to DFME Flex Customers. Custom Reports are created by a Consultant if agreed and required during Implementation or post Implementation through arrangement with your Account Manager. Such custom reports are created by the Consultant offline in a non-cloud BO instance. This request is used to add the report to the Test/Sandbox environment ready for your testing.
  • Enable Email Alerts — Raise this request if you would like Email Alerts to be enabled in your Production environment. To understand more about the Email Alert pre-configured setup and what you change, please download the Email Alerts Setup document here.
  • Environment Refresh — This Service Request is used to request a refreshed development or test environment. Deltek creates a refresh based on a copy of your existing production database. This replaces your existing development or test data with your latest production data. DFME Customers are allowed to refresh their development and test environments up to 6 times per calendar year. DFME Flex Customers are allowed to refresh their development and test environments up to 10 times per calendar year.
  • Grant Implementer Administrator Permissions – At the beginning of the implementation, the SaaS Administrator will submit a Service Request to grant the Implementor access to the Maconomy database in order to implement the system. This Service Request will also be used after Go-Live when you require a Consultant to make changes. Please ensure the following information is populated in the request:

    Implementor Name: ____________

    Implementor Email: ____________

    Access Until Date: ______________

For DFME Flex, this request is used to provide access to Implementors and/or Developers in order to implement the system and/or customize reports and universes and/or make basic layout changes. If you are a DFME Flex Customer, when you submit this request you will receive a response asking which type of access should be given. The three options are described below:

    1. Developer – Basic Layout Changes role is able to access the Maconomy Extender to make layout changes in the Development environment. All layout changes are supported with the exception of Java Extensions.
    2. Developer – Reports and Universes role is used to create custom reports and universes in the Development Environment. Such changes can then be centrally promoted to Test and Production.
    3. Implementer role grants access to the Maconomy database in order to implement the system.

Note: Any Implementer account that is not used (logged into) for more than 90 days is subject to removal as part of Deltek's security policy. Accounts that are removed will need to be re-requested via a new Grant Implementer Access Permissions request. Note that this affects domain developer accounts only and does not affect Maconomy or Business Objects application accounts.

  • Move Basic Layout Changes (DFME Flex Only) — Once layout changes have been verified in the Development environment this request can be made to move them into Test/Sandbox and then once verified in Test/Sandbox from Test/Sandbox to Production. As part of this service request the release name is required.
  • Move Custom Reports / Universes - Custom reports and universes can be added to your environment as required. These reports should be thoroughly tested. Universes should be tested by testing the associated report. Once you are happy with them, this request is used to move them from Test/Sandbox to Production if you are a DFME Customer. If you are a DFME Flex customer, they are moved from Development to Test/Sandbox and then Test/Sandbox to Production.
  • Native Maconomy Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) - Use this service request to activate native Maconomy 2FA for your users when logging in.You can also use it to deactivate 2FA, if needed.
  • Request Access information to InfoView — InfoView is a web portal through which Business Objects reports can be run. If you purchased training, this is also where you can design new reports. This request is used to gain login and connection details for InfoView.
  • REST API Search Dialog Access - This is only relevant to Customers on version 2.6.1 and higher. In Maconomy version 2.6, for security purposes, we removed direct access to all search dialogs in Workspace and web clients from the Rest API. If you do find an integration that is no longer working because of the removal of one or more search dialogs, please submit this service request and they will be added back in the chosen environments.
  • SaaS Administrator Change — This request can be raised by the SaaS Administrator to authorize further SaaS Administrator accounts. This can be an employee within your organization or an Implementer if you would like them to raise Service Requests on your behalf.
  • Security Resets - This request has two options:
    1. Reset 2FA - This option will reset 2FA details for a particular user. This can be used to reset a 2FA account (For example, if a user loses the device holding their 2FA app). When selecting this option, enter the username of the employee and the environment it needs to be reset in.
    2. Nightly User Password Reset - By raising this Service Request, you will activate a background task designed to reset the password of all user accounts in Maconomy. All passwords will reset nightly to a random password. Only user accounts marked with "Yes" in Text1 and/or Text2 on the user record will be excluded from the password reset process. This feature is designed to complement Azure SSO in preventing employees bypassing SSO to use manual login.
