About creating payroll files (payroll service or outsourced payroll)

Your payroll service determines the information that you must send to them for payroll processing. You define that information in Ajera when you set up company preferences for payroll. When you are ready to process payroll for a pay period, you create a payroll file to send to your payroll service.  

If you are using QuickBooks to generate your payroll information, you set up preferences for QuickBooks.
