Incoming Invoices Workflow

This section describes the high-level workflow for manually processing incoming electronic invoices.

Prerequisite: Ensure that your Maconomy system is integrated with Pagero and the Enable E-Invoicing, Incoming system parameter is enabled. In addition, there must be existing invoices available for import in Pagero.

When the integration with Pagero is properly configured, background tasks can be set up to automate the creation, processing, and closure of inbox entries. Maconomy will automatically process the attached Pagero XML file based on the inbox entry type associated with the invoice.

In cases where error occur during automated processing, e-invoices may appear in the Draft Invoices workspace. Theses errors can be reviewed and addressed directly within the Draft Invoices workspace to ensure proper handling and resolution. Otherwise, follow the manual workflow to process invoices imported from Pagero.

Go to Accounts Payable > E-Invoicing > Draft Vendor Invoices workspace to address any errors encountered during processing.

Close an Inbox Entry Inbox Entries Once invoice processing is complete, the inbox entry will be closed, and its status will be updated to Processed.
