On Oracle systems, a system error would occur when you processed a batch of jobs to roll forward. This occurred if the selection included jobs where the close or roll forward failed due to a job with an inactive customer. This error is corrected.

When doing a job transfer, all open entries are normally transferred. However, if you had job entries with an open quantity but a zero value in cost and billing, these would not be transferred. This error is corrected to ensure all open entries are transferred.

In some scenarios, the system would unnecessarily take a database lock on the selection criteria entry in the database. This was a problem when using the dialog in a background task, due to the fact that the dialog could not be used in parallel on different jobs, if the same user is used for the background tasks. In the Jobs workspace filter list, the Draft Rejected field would display a non-zero value, despite there being no rejected approval lines for draft invoices in effect belonging to the job. This error is corrected.

Generate Draft Checkbox on Transferred Lines

In the Jobs workspace, the Delimit action selects the Generate Draft checkbox on jobs where entries are selected for invoicing. However, when you transferred invoicing plans, the Generate Draft checkbox would be deselected on jobs where plan lines were transferred. You would need to manually select the checkbox on all jobs that have an amount for invoicing on account from the plan. This is now improved so that the action that transfers invoicing plans retains the selection of the Generate Draft checkbox on jobs where lines were transferred.

When calculating surcharge at invoicing, an error could display if one of the employees on the job entries selected for invoicing has been removed from Employee Control. This error is corrected.

Data Conversion Error

The data conversion during upgrade from 2.4 to 2.5 could fail if you had a job with a main job that had a different currency from the subjob. This error would occur if the main job had a fixed exchange rate setup, while the subjob was set up as a fixed price job, or with overrun handing and had a non-zero fixed price, or the current budget had a non-zero total billing price. This error is corrected.

An inaccurate error message could occur when you utilized the New Revision action for a job budget. This error displayed if the action was done through the Import Jobs import program on an already approved job budget. This error is corrected and the appropriate error message is now provided by the import program.

Incorrect Task List when Reallocating Entries

In the web client, if you wished to reallocate entries in the jobs workspace, and did an advanced search (CTRL+G) on a task, the results would display only tasks belonging to the selected job. However, if you entered a job number and pressed TAB to move to the Task Field, the advanced search would display an invalid list of tasks. It would erroneously display either tasks belonging to the previously entered job or the current job in the Jobs workspace.

Incorrect Write Up/Down Value

In the Invoice Selection single dialog workspace, the write up/down to date value was calculated based on contributions from the lines displayed in the subtab. If you selected the Only Open Activities checkbox, which would hide lines without open activities, the write up/down would be incorrect as it would only calculate the total contributions of the shown lines only. Similarly, the write up/down to date in Job Invoice Allocation could also be incorrect when the checkbox was selected. This error is corrected and the write up/down to date value always calculates the amount for all lines, even when you choose to view only those with open activities.

In the web client, when you attempted to delete an attached document from a mileage sheet, the displayed warning message erroneously stated that the document was connected to lines in an expense sheet. Unable to Stop or Force Recalculation of Outdated Job Surcharges

Previously, if you approved an invoice selection on a job with surcharges that were calculated before you made changes to the invoice selection, this resulted in the calculated surcharges being no longer up to date with the invoice selection you approve.

This is now changed so that if a job is set up with an action on missing surcharges (using a Surcharge type job parameter), the action takes place if there have been any changes to the invoice selection after the last calculation of surchanges, with the exception of changes to (or removal of) surcharge entries calculated by this action.

Error When Posting Job Journal

When posting a job journal, you might receive a message stating "Maconomy is waiting for data from the server" when other users are posting job journals, even if those other journals give rise to posting in other companies. This error is corrected.

If you have previously followed the instructions (in a Tech Note) to insert the following query in SqlHints.json: "SELECT HOURSJOURNAL.* FROM HOURSJOURNAL WITH (UPDLOCK) WHERE JOURNALNUMBER= ? AND LINENUMBER= ? AND JOBNUMBER= ? ", then that entry can now be removed.
