This section includes background information and possible workaround on high priority technical issues existing in Deltek Touch for the current release which will be resolved in the future.

Defect 1144092

Receipt Names with Special Characters Not Displaying Properly in REST

If you attach a receipt to a new or an existing expense sheet and you try to use any special character in the Receipt Name field, Touch for Maconomy does not display the receipt name properly. This defect affects all Deltek Touch for Maconomy users who are using REST Web services.

Defect 1128608

Cannot Select Your Preferred Day After Tapping Next Using the Day Carousel

If you tap the Next button in the day carousel on the Timesheet screen and then try to tap any day (other than Monday), Touch does not allow you to select your preferred day. It still selects the default option (Monday). This defect affects Deltek Touch for Maconomy users who are using REST Web services.

As a workaround, take one of the following actions:
  • Tap your preferred day for the second time.
  • On the Weeks screen, navigate to the next or previous week by tapping your preferred week.

Defect 739573

Cannot Log On to Deltek Touch When a Week Calendar is Missing

If there is a missing week calendar and you try to log on to Deltek Touch, an error message displays.

This defect affects Deltek Touch for Maconomy users who are using REST. As a workaround,The week calendar should be created in Maconomy.

Defect 776985

No Required Justification Label on Expense Sheet Line Screens

If you select a task that require a justification and proceed without entering values in all justification fields, the Justification needed label does not automatically display on the succeeding Expense Sheet Line screens.

This defect affects Deltek Touch for Maconomy users who are using REST. As a workaround, reload the Expense Sheet screen to display the Justification needed label properly.

No Required Justification Label on Mileage Sheet Line Screens

If you select a task that require a justification and proceed without entering values in all justification fields, the Justification needed label does not automatically display on the succeeding Mileage Sheet Line screens.

This defect affects Deltek Touch for Maconomy users who are using REST. As a workaround, reload the Mileage Sheet screen to display the Justification needed label properly.

Defect 858702

Error When Selecting a Favorite with a Slash in its Name

If you tried to select a favorite with a slash (“/”) in its name on an expense sheet line, an error message would display.

This defect affected Deltek Touch for Maconomy users who were using REST and had favorites with "/" in their names. As a workaround, rename the favorite in Maconomy core.

Defect 942863

Inconsistent Values in the Approval Counter and Actual Count of Items for Approval

In some cases, the value that displays in the approval counter does not match the actual count of items in the approval list. This inconsistency can happen when you reopen a timesheet but do not submit it yet; the timesheet header in some places in Touch and Workspace Client already displays as ready for approval.

This defect affects Deltek Touch for Maconomy users who have approval rights.

Defect 1007981

Unable to Delete Attachment in a Submitted Expense Sheet

If you try to delete a receipt in a submitted expense sheet, a message informing you to enter the name of the document you want to delete displays and the expense sheet is still not deleted.

This defect affects Deltek Touch for Maconomy users who are using REST. As a workaround, reopen the expense and then delete the receipt.

Slow Process of Submitting Expense Sheets with 50 Lines

If you submit expense sheets with more than 50 lines, the process would take longer than expected. This defect affects Deltek Touch users who are using Maconomy 2.0 SP 3 (or higher), 2.1.1 (or higher), and 2.2 (or higher).

The performance in Deltek Touch is comparable with that of other Maconomy clients (for example, Workspace Client).
