Create an Item

Use these steps to create an item.

To create an item:

  1. Under the Setup menu group, go to Sales Orders > Items > Items.
  2. Click +New Item.
  3. In the New Item dialog box that displays:
    1. Enter a value for the item in the Item No. field.
      This is a required field.
    2. In the Item Group field, select the group the item belongs to.
    3. If needed, select the Bill of Materials checkbox.
    4. Enter a description for the item in the Description, Language 1 field. T
      This is a required field.
  4. Click Create.
