Budget Hierarchy
The budget hierarchy represents the departments within the organization that should have a budget, wherein each department is represented as a line in a tree structure.
A line with one or more subordinate lines within the structure represents a department that is superior to the departments that are represented by subordinate lines.
For each line in the tree structure, specify the following information:
- Department name
- Name of the employee responsible for filling out and submitting the budget
- Company dimension set on all leaf lines
- Currency used on the budget by the department
Additionally, the following information can be specified:
- Dimensions of a specific department: Any dimension specified on a line in the tree structure is automatically inherited by the subordinate lines and departments.
- Access level: An access level determines which budgets are accessible to each user
