Add a Resource to a Task

Use the Tasks submodule to add a resource to tasks.

To use the Tasks submodule, you must have access to Jobs as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To a resource to a task:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Jobs .
  2. Select the job you want to modify, then click Open job from the toolbar.
  3. Click Tasks.
  4. In the Schedule drop-down field, select the schedule you want to modify.
  5. Click the Tasks tab, then select a task to which you want to add a resource.
  6. On the Tasks tab toolbar, click Add Resource to Task .
    Alternatively, do one of the following:
    • Use the Add User field to enter the user's initials and press the ENTER key.
    • Click Booked Resources and click Add Resource to Task on the subgrid toolbar.
    • Click Booked Resources and use the Add User field on the subgrid toolbar to enter the user's initials.
    • Click Booked Resources and click on the subgrid toolbar.
    • Click Booked Resources , then click the Context Menu on the subgrid toolbar and select Add Resource.
  7. In the Add Resource to Task dialog box, provide the values for the required fields and click OK.
