Actions Bar of the Employee Expenses Form
Use the Actions Bar to create and work with employee expense transaction records.
Commonly Used Actions
Click this menu to perform the following actions:

| Submit/Submit File |
This action displays if transaction center approvals are enabled and if the status of the transaction or transaction file is In Progress. Select this action to submit an individual transaction or a transaction file (transactions grouped into a file) for approval. |
| Approve |
This action displays if transaction center approvals are enabled and the status of the transaction or transaction file is Submitted. Select this action and then approve or reject the individual transaction or the transaction file. (You can also post the transaction or file if complete approvals are not required for posting.) |
| Post |
This action displays if transaction entry is set up to so that you enter transactions individually, rather than in files. If you enabled transaction center approvals, this action displays when the transaction status is Submitted or Approved. Select this action to post the transaction. |
| Save |
Select this action to save the changes that you made to the transaction or transaction file. |
Other Actions
Click the buttons on the Actions bar to access commonly performed actions.

| Control Totals |
Select this action to display the Control Totals dialog box and then view or modify control totals for the current transaction. This action is available if you can use files to group transactions. |
| Make Recurring/Make File Recurring |
Select this action to make the file recurring. This is useful if you create and post the transaction file on a regular basis. |
| Change Dates |
Select this action to change the transaction date and, if transaction date validation is implemented, the file end date for the current transaction file. This action is available if the transaction file is recurring and is not yet posted. |
| Clear Amounts |
Select this action to clear (zero out) the amounts entered for a recurring transaction. This action is available if the transaction file is recurring and is not yet posted. |
| Reverse Amounts |
Select this action to reverse all amounts (multiply by negative one) in a recurring transaction. This action is available if the transaction file is recurring and is not yet posted. |
| Recreate File |
Recurring files that were already posted must be recreated before you create the next file in the recurrence. This action is available if the transaction file is recurring and is posted. |
| Delete/Delete File |
Select the transaction record or file and then select this action to delete it. |
