Delete the Contents of a Project Plan

You can remove all the unpublished plan's assignments for labor resources, expense types, consultant types, and units along with the planned and baseline values.

Assignments that have actual job-to-date (JTD) hours, amounts, or quantities are automatically added back after the delete process completes. This action only affects the unpublished plan and baseline.

To delete the contents of a project plan:

1. In the Navigation pane, select Hubs > Projects > Plan.
2. At the top of the Plan form, enter either a complete or partial name or number in the Find project lookup field to find and select the project for which you want to delete the plan contents.
3. On the Actions bar, click Check Out.
4. On the Actions bar, click Other Actions > Delete Plan Assignments.
5. When a confirmation message displays, click Delete to delete the plan contents.
