Dismiss a Notification
You can dismiss your notifications from the Notification Center.
To dismiss a notification:
- Open the Notification Center.

Do one of the following:
- To dismiss all notifications, click the Dismiss All link at the top right of the Notifications list.
- To dismiss a single notification, click
next to the item.
- Click the notification to open the Notification Details dialog box.
The notifications are removed from the list and the count on the Notification Center icon decreases. Notifications automatically delete after seven days. -
You may also opt in to Read/Unread notifications in the Vantagepoint 7.2 release. If you opt in to this feature, the notification center bell in the title bar will include a badge that indicates there is more than one unread notification. Select the
View option to display the matching notifications by status:
Read or
Unread.
- Mark all as read: This option displays when viewing notifications with the Unread status. Select this option to change all notifications to display as Read.
- Delete all: This option displays when viewing notifications with the Read status. Click this option to delete all Read notifications.
You can choose to opt in to this feature for the Vantagepoint 7.2 release. The ability to opt in is temporary and will be removed when the feature becomes automatically enabled for all Vantagepoint users in a future release. For more information, see Opt-In Feature Overview.
If you have multiple companies in Vantagepoint and you receive a notification that would navigate you to an approval record in a different company, you are prompted to either change companies or stay where you are without navigating to the record.

Click
Close to close the notification and remove it from the list.
The count in the Notification Center icon updates accordingly. Notifications automatically delete after seven days.
