Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Use Navigation Pane Favorites

A key feature of the Navigation pane is the ability to specify applications that you frequently use as "favorites." When you access the Navigation pane, your favorite applications display in a separate menu for quick access.

To set a favorite option on the Navigation pane:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Scroll over the application name and click the Star option that displays so the star is filled in .
    • Right-click the application name and select Make Favorite .
    Vantagepoint marks the application as a favorite and adds it to the Favorites pane.

    To remove the favorite designation, click the star option again so the star is clear , or right-click the application name and select Unfavorite.

  2. To open the Favorites pane, click the Star option at the top Navigation pane.
