You can export data from a grid to an Excel file.
Prerequisites: To export from list view, your user ID must be mapped to an employee record.
To export data from a grid to an Excel file:

Open an application that has a grid with the
Export
icon on the grid toolbar.
Examples of grids that have the export capabilities:
- In hubs, the grids that display when you switch to list view by clicking
on the form
You are notified via the Notification Center as soon as the Excel file is ready to be downloaded if there are more than 500 records and the process server was used to process the export. The Excel file is stored in the FileStream database.
If you are exporting more than 500 records, the following
Vantagepoint applications automatically leverage the process server when exporting records from list view: Projects hub, Employees hub, Firms hub, Contacts hub, User Defined hubs, Activities, and Users.

On the grid toolbar, click

On the Export from list view dialog box, select one of the following options:
