  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

KPI Dashparts

This dashpart displays a key performance indicator (KPI) as a tile on a dashboard.

While viewing the Dashparts Library pane of the Dashboards form in edit mode, KPI dashparts are represented with the icon in the dashpart list.

Use the KPI dashpart to select a metric that is important for your firm and display it on a dashboard. The dashpart displays a single value, highlighted with a large font and a color of your choice. You can customize the dashpart by selecting columns needed to display your desired metric.

When you select the columns while creating a new KPI dashpart, Vantagepoint is able to identify a numeric based column that you selected and hides all other, non-numeric columns. If you select multiple numeric columns, Vantagepoint displays one numeric column and hides the other numeric columns and non-numeric columns. While you are editing the KPI dashpart, added columns are not automatically hidden by Vantagepoint and you need to hide columns manually.

You can customize the KPI dashpart further by using calculated fields, sorting options, presentation currency options, and other column related settings like date ranges, drill-to's, and filters. You can also apply conditional formatting to configure the displayed value to change formatting and color based on conditions that you specify.
