Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Change the Layout of Dashparts in a Dashboard

Organize the layout of your dashparts in edit mode to make a dashboard easier to view.

Appropriate access rights are needed to change the layout of a dashboard.

These steps do not apply when you are using Vantagepoint on a tablet or smart phone.

To change the layout of dashparts in a dashboard:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Dashboards and then select one of these actions:
    • If no dashboards have been created, select Dashboard.
    • If one or more dashboards exist, select a dashboard under one of these submenus: My Dashboards, Personal, or All Dashboards. The submenus available depend on your role’s access rights.
  2. On the Dashboard form, click Edit Mode to enable edit mode.

    The Edit Mode toggle option is not enabled when you use a tablet or smart phone to access Vantagepoint.

  3. In the list of dashboards on the Navigation pane, select the dashboard that you want to modify.
  4. Select the appropriate action:
    To do thisComplete this action
    Move a dashpart Click and drag the dashpart to a new location.
    Resize a dashpart Click and drag the lower-right corner of the dashpart. (You cannot resize a system dashpart.)
  5. Click Save.
