Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Backing Up Your Database

Backing up your Vantagepoint database may be the most important maintenance task that you perform during a normal processing cycle. Maintaining a routine of daily (or even more frequent) database backups can minimize the need to re-enter data lost due to unforeseen circumstances.

You should also back up your database prior to processing certain types of transactions, specifically transaction postings and key conversions, because these transactions update your database.

On-Premises Product

Administrators for the on-premises Vantagepoint product should use native SQL backup procedures to back up the Vantagepoint and FileStream databases.
