  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Proposals and FileStream

FileStream is a Microsoft SQL Server feature that is required when uploading and including image files with Proposals.

FileStream allows Vantagepoint to attach the image files to the record for which they were uploaded. When you upload an image, a copy of the file is stored in the FileStream database.

If you use the Vantagepoint on-premises product, you can upload image files only if your administrator has configured the Transaction Document Management (TDM) feature and FileStream. The Deltek Vantagepoint Technical Installation Guide provides your administrator with detailed instructions.

If you use the Vantagepoint Cloud product, the Deltek Cloud Ops Team sets up and maintains TDM and FileStream for you.
