Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Open New W-2 Quarter Form

Use the fields and options to open a new W-2 quarter and define its start and end dates.

Field Description
Open

Click this button to open a new W-2 quarter. You can only open a new W-2 quarter under the following conditions:

  • All payroll runs have been closed/completed in Payroll > Payroll Payments. For more information, go to Payroll Payments.
  • You are working on the most recent period. For more information, go to Periods.
Current W-2 Quarter
This section displays the following information for the current W-2 quarter:
  • W-2 quarter
  • W-2 quarter start and end dates
  • W-2 year
  • W-2 year start and end dates
New W-2 Quarter
This section displays the following information for the new W-2 quarter:
  • W-2 quarter
  • W-2 quarter start and end dates
  • W-2 year
  • W-2 year start and end dates
