Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Log in to Vantagepoint Connect for Gmail

While using Vantagepoint with Gmail, you can log in to the Vantagepoint Connect Add-in. When you do so, a Context Pane displays so that you can access your Vantagepoint information.

Prerequisite: Install the Connect Add-in for Gmail

To log in to Vantagepoint Connect:

  1. Open Gmail in Chrome and select the Vantagepoint button (or your company's custom button) to open the Context Pane.
  2. On the Context Pane, in the Deltek URL field, enter your Vantagepoint browser URL.
    For example, enter: https://Yourcompanyname.deltekfirst.com/Yourcompanyname.
  3. Enter the user ID and the password that you use to log in to Vantagepoint.
  4. If you have more than one Vantagepoint database for the URL that you entered in the Deltek URL field, use the Deltek Database field to specify the database to which you are connecting Gmail.
  5. Click Sign In.
