Enter Units in a Timesheet

You can enter units for a project on a daily basis. If you are an active employee in more than one company, you can only view and edit your time for your home company.

Prerequisites: Your access to this feature requires the following:
  • Your security role must have access to timesheets as specified in Settings > Security > Roles.
  • Enable Unit Entry must be set to Yes in Settings > Time > Options.
  • Allow Employee to Charge Units in Timesheet must be selected on the Time & Expense tab of the Employees hub.

To enter units on a timesheet:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Timesheet.
  2. If necessary, switch the Hours/Units toggle to Units.
This adds the entry fields for units to the Timesheets form.
  3. If the timesheet displayed is not the one that you want, use the search field to search for and select the one that you want to update.
For example, use the My Timesheets search filter to limit the search results to include only your own timesheets.
If you select a timesheet and displays beside it, the timesheet is locked and you cannot make changes to it.
