Employee Expenses Report

The Employee Expenses report provides a list of the employee's expense transaction entry files that were posted for a specified period. These transaction entries could be travel or automobile expenses, or any expenses that an employee submitted.

If you use multiple companies, the Employee Expenses report displays only the posting logs for the active company.

On the Navigation menu, click Transaction Center > Transaction Entry > Employee Expenses.

Field Description
Date This column displays the date when the transaction occurred.
Description This column displays the short description about the transaction entry.
Employee This field displays the employee name and number who submitted the transaction entry.
Project This column displays the selected project number for the transaction entry.
Phase This column displays the selected phase number for the transaction entry.
Task This column displays the selected task number for the transaction entry.
Account This column displays the general ledger account for the employee expense item.
Transaction Amount This column displays the total amount paid for the transaction.
Originating Vendor This column displays the name of the vendor from whom the expense item was originally purchased.
Tax Code This column displays the tax code information, which is based on the country code for the country taxing goods and services.
Tax Amount This column displays the amount of tax in an expense item.
Net Amount This column displays the calculated net amount (amount - total tax amount) for the transaction entry.
Payment Amount This column displays the amount to be paid for the transaction entry.
Suppress Billing This column is available if the user selected not to bill a selected expense item.
Status This field displays the current status of the transaction or transaction file.
Report Name This field displays the report name for the transaction entry.
Report Date This field displays the date associated with the entire expense report.
Transaction Currency This field displays the currency used in the transaction entry.
Exchange Override Method This field is available if you override the exchange rate for an expense item.
Payment Exchange Override Method This field is available if you override the payment exchange rate for an expense item.
Advance Amount This field displays the amount borrowed in advance to pay an expense item.
