  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Select Projects for Revenue Generation

You can select the projects included in a revenue generation processing run.

It is not usually necessary to run revenue generation for all of your enterprise's projects at one time. You may want to run revenue generation for different projects at different times. The more projects that you select for a processing run, the more time it may take to complete the processing run.

You can also create and save search criteria so that you can run revenue generation for the same groups of projects in the future.

To select projects when you run revenue generation:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Accounting > Revenue Generation.
  2. On the Revenue Generation form, use the Project lookup in the Projects To Include field to select one or more projects or use a set of saved search criteria.
  3. Review and, if necessary, modify data on the Revenue Generation form.
  4. On the Actions bar of the Revenue Generation form, select one of the following actions:
    • Click Run to run the process now for the selected projects.
    • Click Schedule to send the job to the process server to be run at a scheduled time.
