Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Project Management

Vantagepoint enables you to proactively manage and deliver successful projects. It places your projects and clients at the center of your business so you can manage all aspects of your portfolio of projects from a single command center, the Projects hub. You have complete visibility into project financials and performance so you can keep every project on track.

In the Projects hub, which is a component of the Accounting module, you can do the following:
  • Enter and manage the basic information for each of your enterprise's projects, including projects that you are pursuing but have not yet won.
  • Enter service estimates, budgets, and contract information.
  • Enter planning information for labor, expenses, and consultants.
  • Forecast revenue.
  • Establish billing terms.
  • Review, approve, and track client invoices.
  • Evaluate actual performance against project plans, contracts, and budgets.
To support optimal project management, the Projects hub is fully integrated with other Vantagepoint applications, including the other hubs, Timesheet, Expense Report, Interactive Billing, Transaction Entry applications, and Reporting.
