Settings for Salaried Employees

When you set up employee information for salaried employees, you specify the job cost rate and type and the number of working hours in a day.

Accounting Cost Rate in the Job Cost section Enter an employee's salaried rate that matches the job cost frequency that you entered for ASJC in the Job Cost Frequency field on the Timesheets tab in Settings > Accounting > Company.

For example, if you entered Biweekly as the job cost frequency, you must enter the biweekly pay rate as the salaried employee's job cost rate.

Accounting Cost Type in the Job Cost section Select Salary from the drop-down list.
Personal and Contact Details Hours/Day Enter the hours per day that employees are generally expected to work.
