Unsubmit a Timesheet

If you have the employee timesheet approvals workflow enabled, you can unsubmit a timesheet that you submitted for approval.

The Unsubmit option is available on the Timesheets form if:
  • Allow Employees to Unsubmit Their Own Timesheet is selected in the timesheet approval workflow settings on the General tab in Settings > Workflow > Approval Workflows in the desktop application.
  • The timesheet approval is in progress and has not been approved.

Note that the employee who submitted the timesheet may be different than the employee who owns the timesheet. For example, a group administrator may create and submit timesheets on behalf on an employee. Both can unsubmit the timesheet.

To unsubmit a timesheet:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select My Stuff > Timesheet.
  2. Use the search field above the Timesheets form to search for and select the timesheet that you want to unsubmit.
  3. Select Actions > Unsubmit.
    The status of the timesheet is set to In Progress and Submit is enabled on the Actions bar.
