  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Table Formats

When you use the Data Import utility, you must follow the prescribed formats for the data you add to an import file.

For example, a client number must always be 20 characters or fewer, of a varchar data type.

Topics in this section of the help apply for the imports that you select in the Table Description field on the Main tab of the Import Utility form in Utilities > Desktop Imports in the desktop application. After you select a table description, you select the fields to include in the import file on the Text FileFields Mapping tab on the Import Utility form. These topics provide formatting information and notes for the fields that you add to import files on the Text FileFields Mapping tab.
