Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Convert Generic Resource Keys

Change a generic resource from the Generic Resources Key Conversion utility. You can also change the labor category or labor code after you assign a generic resource to a project plan.

Prerequisite: Back up your Vantagepoint database.

To change generic resources:

  1. On the Navigation menu of the desktop application, select Utilities > Key Conversions > Generic Resources.
  2. Complete the fields on the Key Convert Generic Resources form.
  3. Select one of the following options:
    Option Description
    To save the conversion to run later Click Save.
    To run the conversion now Click Run.
    To schedule the conversion to run on a regular basis via the process server Click Schedule and complete the information on the Schedule dialog box.
