Shapes Toolbar on the Draft Preview Tab in Draft Invoice Approvals

Use the shapes, lines, and arrows on this toolbar to outline or point to items on a draft invoice. Then enter comments that will display when someone hovers over the shapes, lines, or arrows.

This toolbar applies if you use the Invoice Approvals and Markup on Draft Invoices features. The toolbar opens when you click Shapes on the main toolbar of the Draft Preview tab in Draft Invoice Approvals. This is one of several markup toolbars. For general instructions that apply for all the markup tools, see the "Toolbar Options for Marking Up the Draft Invoice" section in the Draft Preview Tab of Draft Invoice Approvals topic.

Add shapes with no fill or a fill color with a low opacity percentage (selected in the preset options for the tool) to outline items on a draft invoice.

After you add a shape, line, or arrow to the draft invoice, you enter the comment for it in the comments box that displays in the markup panel to the right of the draft invoice. This markup panel also opens when you click on the main toolbar of the Draft Preview tab. The panel contains a listing and information for all the markup added to a draft invoice. For more information about the markup panel, see the description for in the "Toolbar Options for Searches, Markup List, and Other Settings" section in the Draft Preview Tab of Draft Invoice Approvals topic.
