Variables for SF330 Graphics Placeholders

You can change the variables in an graphics placeholder to control the graphic's placement and dimensions.

Variable Purpose and Example Description
Control the Sequence Number

Picture<[Project Graphic: 1],2,p,l>

The 1 shows that this placeholder merges the first graphic file in the list that you made by selecting graphics files for the Project Page. If more than one graphics file is selected for any record, each graphic file needs to have a graphic placeholder. If two graphic files are being merged, the second graphic placeholder has a 2 at this location in the placeholder.
Control Width

The 2 shows that the graphic is 2 inches in width when it displays on the proposal.
Control Height

Picture<[Project Graphic: 1],2,p,l>

The p shows that the graphic height adjusts itself proportionally to the specified width when the graphic is inserted in the merged document.

For example, if the graphic's original dimensions are 3.81" in width, and 3.04" in height, and you specify a width for the graphic of 2 inches and place a "p" (for proportional) in the Height field on the Graphics Dialog, the graphic is 2" in Width, and 1.58" in Height in the proposal.

You can also specify a number in the Height field and a "p" in the Width field. To insert the graphic at its original dimension, enter a "p" in both the Height and Width fields.

Control Alignment

The l (lower case "L") shows that the graphic is aligned to the left. You can also enter ”r;r” for right, or ”r;c” for center.

For example, think of a graphic that has original dimensions of 3.81" in width and 3.04" in height. If you specify a width for the graphic of 2 inches and enter "p" (for proportional) in the Height field on the Graphics dialog box, this causes the graphic to be shown in the completed proposal with a width of 2", and a height of 1.58".

You can also enter a number in the Height field and a "p" in the Width field. To show the graphic in the completed proposal with its original dimensions, enter "p" in both the Height and in the Width fields.
