Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Standard Searches

Vantagepoint includes standard, pre-defined searches that you can immediately use without going through the process of creating searches from scratch. You can select standard searches at the top of the Searches list, but you cannot modify them.

Standard search options vary and are specific to the active hub or application. The most common standard searches found throughout many hubs and applications are:
  • Active: Display a list of all active records that are specific to the hub or application that you are currently using.
  • All: Display a list of all records (active and inactive) that are specific to the hub or application that you are currently using.
  • Mine: Display a list of active records that are specific to the hub or application that you are currently using and for which you are an owner or member of the team. (You are on the team if you are listed as a team member for the record on the Team tab.)

Additional standard search options may be available, depending on the hub or application you are using.
