Refresh Analysis Cubes

You can use the Refresh tab to run or schedule a full refresh to update the Analysis Cubes with the most current Vantagepoint data.

If your firm uses the Vantagepoint Cloud product, contact your system administrator to request a full refresh of Analysis Cubes.

Pre-requisite: To perform an Analysis Cubes refresh and to enable the Refresh tab of the Analysis Cubes form, the Allow Access to Analysis Cubes Refresh option must be selected for your role in Settings > Security > Roles.

To refresh analysis cubes:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Settings > General > Analysis Cubes.
  2. On the Analysis Cubes form, click the Refresh tab.
  3. Click the Schedule button.
  4. On the Distribution tab of the Schedule dialog box, configure the options to schedule the refresh job at a specific date and time.
  5. To update the Vantagepoint data cubes, select the Full Refresh check box to run a full refresh of all Vantagepoint data.
    If you have users who are actively using Analysis Cubes, the refresh process may impact their work. To avoid performance and functionality issues, Deltek recommends that you schedule a refresh process at a time when no one is likely to use Analysis Cubes.
  6. To run the refresh job automatically on a regular basis, on the Recurrence tab of the Schedule dialog box, select the Recurring Activity check box and then set how often you want the refresh job to run.
