Contents of the Incomplete Postings Form
Use the fields on the form to select the transaction type or to filter the transactions listed.

Transaction List | Select a file, click this option, and then select one of the following actions:

Posting Log | Select a file and click this option to display a posting log. |
Recreate Unposted | Select a file and click this option to resubmit the file and make it available again in the Transaction Center. You can then edit the unposted transactions in Transaction Entry. In Transaction Posting, you can select the file to continue the posting process from where it failed previously. |
Undo Posting/Recreate File | Select a file and click this option to unpost any completed transactions and make the transaction file available again in the Transaction Center. This option returns the database to the way it was before the transaction files were posted. |
Fields
Field | Description |
---|---|
Type | This field displays the transaction type. |
Posting Sequence | This field displays the unique number assigned to the transaction during posting. This number is period-specific and restarts when you open a new period. |
Posting Date | This field displays the date when the transaction was posted. |
Post User | This field displays the name of the employee who posted the transaction file, unless the selected user ID is not mapped to an employee, in which case only the user ID displays. |
Posting Owner | This field displays the company code for the company that owns the posting log. |
Post Comment | This field displays a description of the contents of the transaction. The type of description depends on the transaction type. |
Status | This field displays the posting status of the transaction. |
