Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Posting Review Form

Use this form to view or filter posted transactions or print a Posting Log Review report.

Columns

Field Description
Create User This column displays the name of the user who created the transaction.
Post Comment This field displays the status of the posting run, such as Assigned or Printed.
Post User This column displays the name of the user who posted the transaction.
Posting Date This column displays the date when the transaction was posted.
Post Owner If you use multiple companies, column displays which company "owns" a given transaction (or set of transactions).
Posting Sequence This column displays the transaction's posting sequence number, assigned during the posting process. Vantagepoint assigns the number 1 to the first group of transactions posted during an accounting period; the number 2 to the second group, and so on.
Status This column displays the posting status of the transaction.
Type This column displays the transaction type.
Field Description
This option appears when you click in or hover over a row. Click this option to print the posting log for that row.
