You can create credit memos for posted invoices. If your role has the appropriate security settings established, you can also void or delete credit memos.

You can create full or partial credit memos for posted invoices that were originally created in Interactive Billing or Batch Billing. - Void a Credit Memo
You void a credit memo in Interactive Billing. When you void a credit memo, transactions (labor, expenses, and so on) are not returned to an unbilled status. Instead, the credit memo transactions are reversed. After you void a credit memo, the credit memo number cannot be re-used. - Delete a Credit Memo
You can delete credit memos in Interactive Billing if you no longer need to print or void them.
