You can archive reports directly from Reporting. The reports are then available on the Archived Reports tab of the Reporting form.
Prerequisites: The option to archive reports is only available if you use the Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition of Microsoft SQL Server. If you use a different version of SQL Server, the Reporting form does not have a
Create Report Archive option or an Archived Reports tab.
To archive a report immediately:

On the Navigation pane in
Vantagepoint Desktop, click
Reporting, and click the type of report.

To select the report, click anywhere in the grid row for that report.
Both standard and favorite reports are listed in the Reports grid. Favorite reports have either
Personal or
Global in the
Type column.

Click the
Options column, and then click
.

On the Options dialog box, select the report options and click
Apply.

To restrict the records included in the report, click the
Selection column in the Reports grid and click
.

On the Lookup, specify the criteria for selecting data for the report and click
Apply.

Click
Create Report Archive on the toolbar.

In
Archive report output (Hours) on the Archive Report dialog box, enter the number of hours that you want to save the report.

If you want the option to preview the report after it is generated, select
Prompt to preview report when archive has completed.

Click
Archive.
If you selected
Prompt to preview report when archive has completed, a message displays that asks if you want to view the archived report.

Click
Yes to view the report in the Preview window; click
No if you do not want to view it.
The archived report is now available on the Archived Reports tab.
