After you generate, review, and edit a work file, you can transfer the information to an electronic filing format.
Vantagepoint does not verify the accuracy of information in the quarterly processing file. You must review all information and make any necessary changes for individual employees using the Quarterly Processing Editor prior to creating the Electronic Filing Report file.
To transfer quarterly tax information to electronic filing:

In the desktop application Navigation pane, select

On the Quarterly Processing form, verify that all information generated for your employees is correct and edit the work file, if necessary.

On the toolbar, click
Electronic Filing.

In the
File Name field on the Quarterly Processing Electronic Filing Reporting dialog box, enter the path to the file and the filename.
The filename must follow this format:
NYWRMMYY.RPT
Where
NY is the two-letter state code,
WR indicates wage reporting,
MM is the month and
YY is the last two digits of the year. For example, enter
NYWR0620.rpt to indicate the quarterly electronic filing file for New York state for the second quarter, April-June, 2020.

Click
Create File.

On the File Download dialog box, select
Save this File to Disk and click
OK.

Browse to the location where you want to save the file and click
Save.
