Format Reports
The formatting options on the Columns & Groups, Options, Layout, and Chart tabs for an individual report directly affect both the content and layout of that report.
For most reports, you control which sections and columns are included, the order in which they appear, column width, and many other formatting elements.

For many reports, you can select or remove columns, then specify the column sequence and format the columns. - Set Document Properties for a Report
Use the Document Properties section of the Layout tab to define units of measure, page size, paper orientation, and to show a condensed view for dashparts. - Set Fonts, Background Colors, and Border Lines
Some reports may be easier to analyze if you use grid lines or alternating background colors for detail lines. Use the Font and Border section on the Layout tab to select a font, define colors for background colors in heading rows or alternating rows on a report. - Set Headers and Footers for a Report
Use the Header and Footer section on the Layout tab to override heading dates, define heading background colors, and format text using the text editing options. - Set Number, Currency, Date and HTML Formatting for a Report
Use the Number, Currency, Date, and HTML Formatting section to modify the default formats for number, date and currency fields for either individual reports or for individual report columns. You can also turn on HTML Formatting for all memo fields on the report. Vantagepoint applies HTML formatting by default when entering original text in each memo field. - Select Chart Settings
For some reports, you can use the Chart tab to add a chart to a report and select formatting options for the chart.
