Group Search Conditions
When using Advanced Settings, you have the option to group multiple conditions for a search. This sets the order of operations in the search query and enables you to embed conditions and create different levels of the search.

When using Advanced Settings to create a search, you can group related data by including multiple expressions within the search criteria. This allows you to further refine the results set that is included within your search. - Reorder Conditions in an Advanced Search

The order is based on the order of the conditions in the grid and to build a group, the conditions must be in contiguous order.
