Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Startup Tab of My Preferences Dialog Box

Use the Startup tab to specify what you see each time that you log in to Vantagepoint: the Welcome page, the last application that you used, or a specific application.

Field Description
Open Application Used Last Select this option to automatically open the last application that was in use.
Open Welcome Page Select this option to open the Welcome page.
Open This Application Select this option to specify the application that will open when you log in. The applications that display for selection are based on your security role's access rights. If the specified application is subsequently removed from your security role's access rights, the Welcome page displays instead.
