Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Gains Losses and Revaluations Detail Options Tab

Use the Options tab to select report options for the Gains Losses and Revaluations Detail report.

Sections to Include

Field Description
Report Sections to Include

By default, the following sections are included on the report, in the order shown here:

  • Foreign Denominated Accounts
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • Unbilled Services

To exclude a section, clear the check box for that section.

Time Frame Options

Field Description
Time Frame
Use these options to specify the time frame for data included on the report.
  • Current Period: The report shows data for the active accounting period.
  • Year-to-Date: The report shows data for the current fiscal year through the active accounting period.
  • Period Range: The report shows data for a range of accounting periods that you specify.
Select Posting Runs Click this button to generate the report for specific gains and losses posting runs. On the Select Posting Runs dialog box, select the posting runs. The posting runs listed on the dialog box depend on the Time Frame option that you select. For example, if you select Year-to-Date, the list only includes posting runs dated in the current fiscal year through the current accounting period.

Additional Options

Field Description
Page Break Between Sections Enable this option to insert a page break between report sections and start each section at the top of a new page.
Include Payment Transactions Select this option to include the reversing entries made to unrealized gains and losses accounts that occur during accounts payable payment processing or the posting of cash receipts for foreign currency accounts payable or accounts receivable transactions. You must use this option if you want to tie the detail on the report to the general ledger account balances for your unrealized gains and losses accounts.
Transaction Currency Use this field to indicate whether you want to include transactions for all transaction currencies or include transactions only for those currencies that you select on the lookup.
