Distribute an Annual Amount Evenly Across Periods
One way to enter period-by-period budgets for an account is to enter a total annual budget and have it distributed evenly across all periods in the year. You can set the distribution to run automatically or run it manually.
Prerequisite:
Open a General Ledger budget.
To distribute annual budget amounts:

Select one of the following actions:
- Select the Automatically distribute annual budgets option on the Budget tab of the General Ledger Budget form.
- In the Budget grid, for each account that you want to adjust, enter the annual budget in the Annual field and then click Distribute Annual on the grid toolbar.
- Click Save.
