Columns for Contract Management Report

Field Description
Actual Completion For completed projects, this column displays the actual completion date.
Allocation Method This column displays the method selected for the project for allocating estimated fees across time. The allocation method reflects when you expect to receive future fee payments. It is specified on the Estimated Fee tab of the Contract Management form.
Approved Date This column displays the date entered into the Approved Date for the contract.
Approved for use in Processing By default, a project record is approved for use in processing when an Accounting user adds a new project record. It is disabled for all other users.
Available to Accounting Users This Yes/No column indicates whether or not the record is available for review by Accounting users.
Available to CRM Users This Yes/No column indicates whether or not the record is available for review by Customer Relationship Management (CRM) users.
Award Type This column displays the type of award for the project (for example, IDIQ - GWAC, IDIQ - Agency Specific, BPA).
Bid Date This column displays the date on which your firm first bid on the project.
Billing Address This column displays the client's billing street address, city, state, and ZIP code. If the address is too long for the width of the column, it continues on additional lines within the column.
Billing Client Name This column displays the name of the client to be billed.
Billing Contact This column displays the billing contact for the client.
Billing Currency Code This column displays the three-character code for the billing currency.
Business Development Lead This column displays the name of the employee designated as the business development lead for the project.
Capacity Calculation This column indicates if the project is included in the calculation of scheduled hours and percentages and of utilization hours and percentages that are used for resource planning and resource management.
Charge Type

This column displays one of the following charge types for the project:

  • R:Regular projects are revenue-producing. Costs charged to regular projects include direct labor, direct expense, and reimbursable expense. Vantagepoint retains the detail for a regular project for the life of the project.
  • H:Overhead projects are not revenue-producing. Costs charged to overhead projects include indirect labor and indirect expense. Vantagepoint distributes the total cost of these projects to regular projects during overhead allocation. Typical overhead projects can include General Overhead, Vacation, Sick Leave, Holiday, and Civic Duty. Vantagepoint resets job-to-date costs to zero for overhead projects when you initialize for a new fiscal year.
  • P: Promotional projects track the cost to acquire a job. If you obtain the contract, you can create a new regular project and transfer the detail to it to be billed or tracked. A promotional project is similar to an overhead project. However, Vantagepoint does not zero out job-to-date costs at the start of each fiscal year for promotional projects.
Client Address

For clients that use more than one address, this column displays an address description to indicate which address is associated with the project. For example, this column might display one of the following:

  • <Default>: The default address from the Firms hub
  • Corporate HQ: The address of the client's headquarters
  • London: The address for the client's office in London, UK
Client Billing Address

For clients that use more than one address, this column displays an address description to indicate which address is the billing address for the project. For example, this column might display one of the following:

  • <Default>: This is the default client address from the Firms hub.
  • Corporate HQ: This is the address of the client's headquarters.
  • London: This is the address for the client's office in London, UK.

If you want the report to display client billing addresses, select the Billing Address column.

Client Confidential This Yes/No column indicates whether or not the client firm's name is confidential and is to be excluded from all proposals. If the client's name is confidential and you include the project in a proposal, Vantagepoint substitutes an alias for the client name.
Client Name This column displays the client associated with the project plan.
Compensation This column displays the total monetary amount you expect to receive for direct labor and direct expenses related to the project.
Competition Type

This column displays the competition type for the project (for example, GSA Schedules or Woman Owned Set-Aside).

Completion Comment This column displays the comments entered for the completion date.
Confidential Project Alias This column displays the alternate name that Vantagepoint uses in proposals in place of the actual client name when the client requests that you keep the firm's name confidential.
Construction Completion Date This column displays the date on which your firm completed all work.
Contact Name This column displays the name of the contact.
Contract Compensation This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct labor and direct expenses related to the contract.
Contract Date This column displays the date on which your firm was awarded the contract.
Contract Description This column displays the short description of the contract.
Contract Direct Consultant This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct consultant fees related to the contract.
Contract Direct Expense This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct expenses related to the contract.
Contract Direct Labor This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct labor related to the contract.
Contract Number This column displays the transaction's contract number.
Contract Reimbursable Allowance This column displays the expected amount of reimbursable expenses and reimbursable consultant fees related to the contract.
Contract Reimbursable Allowance Consultant This column displays the expected amount of reimbursable consultant fees related to the contract. This amount includes any markups on consultant professional services.
Contract Reimbursable Allowance Expense This column displays the expected amount of reimbursable expenses related to the contract.
Contract Status This column displays the contract's status: Negotiation, Pending, Sent for Signature, Approved & Signed, or Rejected. Your firm may have different contract statuses.
Contract Total This column displays the sum of Contract Compensation, Contract Direct Consultant, and Contract Reimbursable Allowance amounts for the contract.
Contract Type This column displays the contract type for the related contracts.
Create Date This column displays the date on which the plan was created. The report displays this date only in the total line for each plan.
Create User This column displays the Vantagepoint user ID of the employee who created the record.
Custom Contract Compensation 01 - 13 Each of these columns displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct labor and direct expenses related to the contract for the range of periods you specify for the column. Select the starting and ending periods of the range in Period Start and Period End next to the column name on the Columns tab.
Custom Contract Direct Consultant 01-13 Each of these columns displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct consultant fees related to the contract for the range of periods you specify for the column. Select the starting and ending periods of the range in Period Start and Period End next to the column name on the Columns tab.
Custom Contract Direct Expense 01 - 13 Each of these columns displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct expenses related to the contract for the range of periods you specify for the column. Select the starting and ending periods of the range in Period Start and Period End next to the column name on the Columns tab.
Custom Contract Direct Labor 01 - 13 Each of these columns displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct labor related to the contract for the range of periods you specify for the column. Custom Contract Total 01 - 13 Each of these columns displays the sum of contract compensation, contract direct consultant, and contract reimbursable allowance amounts for the contract for the range of periods you specify for the column. Select the starting and ending periods of the range in Period Start and Period End next to the column name on the Columns tab.
Days Open This column displays the number of days the project has been open. For a won, lost, or no longer pursued project, this column displays the number of days from the date it was opened to its won/lost date.
Duration This column displays the total expected duration of the contract (for example, 1 year base plus 4 x 1 year option).
Email This column displays the record's email address.
Estimated Completion This column displays the date on which the project is or was scheduled to be completed. It is assigned as a milestone on the Dates & Cost tab in Hubs > Projects > Project.
Estimated Completion Date This column displays the date you expect to complete the work if you are awarded the contract.
Estimates Fees This column displays the estimated revenue you expect to earn from the project.
Estimated Start Date This column displays the date on which you expect to begin the job associated with the opportunity.
Expense Pct Comp This column displays the estimated percent complete for labor.
Fax This column displays the fax number for the record.
Federal Project This Yes/No column indicates whether or not the project is for the federal government.
Fee Direct Consultant This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct consultant fees. This amount includes any markups on consultant professional services.
Fee Direct Expense This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct expenses related to the project.
Fee Direct Labor This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for direct labor related to the project.
Fee Reimbursable Consultant This column displays the expected amount of reimbursable consultant fees related to the project. This amount includes any markups on consultant professional services.
Fee Reimbursable Expense This column displays the expected amount of reimbursable expenses related to the project.
Firm Cost This column displays the portion of the project cost for which your firm is responsible.
Firm Cost Comment This column displays the comments entered for the firm cost.
Functional Currency Code This column displays the three-character code for the functional currency.
Include in Fees If Include in Fees is selected on the Contract tab of the Contract Management form, this column indicates if the project compensation amounts are updated with the contract amounts for this contract.
IQ Last Update This column displays the last date and time the process was run to update projects with changes from GovWin IQ.
IQ Record If the project was imported from GovWin IQ, this field displays its GovWin IQ ID.
Labor Category Bill Table This column displays the labor category table used for default bill rates.
Labor Category Cost Table This column displays the labor category table used for default cost rates.
Labor Pct. Comp. This column displays the estimated percent complete for labor.
Linked Project This column displays the project number of the linked project. For example, the promotional project associated to a regular project.
Long Name This column displays the project's long name. If the Long Name field is blank in the Projects hub, this column displays the project's short name.
Lost To This column displays the competing firm that was awarded the contract.
Marketing Coordinator This column displays the name of the employee designated as the Marketing Coordinator for the project.
Master Contract This column displays the master contract that is associated with the project.
Memo This column displays the notes entered in the Memo field on the Overview tab of the Projects hub.
Modify Date This column displays the date on which the record was most recently modified.
Modify User This column displays the user ID of the employee who most recently modified the plan. The report displays the user ID only in the total line for each plan.
NAICS This column displays the six-digit North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the project.
Name This column displays the WBS1, WBS2 or WBS3 short name.
Opened This column displays the date on which you identified the project and began pursuing the job.
Organization Name If you use organizations in Vantagepoint, this column displays the name of the organization in your enterprise that is responsible for pursuing the project.
Overall Pct. Comp. This column displays the weighted average percent complete. Vantagepoint calculates this percentage as follows:

(All percents complete * Their respective budgets) / Total project budget

Owner Address Description This column displays the address description of the firm designated as the owner of the project.
Owner Concatenated Address This column displays the street address, city, state, and ZIP code of the owner of the project. If the address is too long for the width of the column, it continues on additional lines within the column.
Owner Name This column displays the name of the firm designated as the owner of the project.
Owner Number This column displays the firm number of the firm designated as the owner of the project.
Owner Value This column displays the total amount of the contract for the owner of the project, in the project currency.
Period This column displays the accounting period entered into the Period for the contract.
Period of Performance This column displays the duration that you expect to work on the contract associated with the project. Typically, the duration is a number of months.
Phase This column displays the phase number.
Phone This column displays the phone number for the record.
Pre-Award Number This column displays the assigned project number for projects that are the in pursuit stage.
Principal Name This column displays the name of the principal for the project, phase, or task.
Probability This column displays the probability that your company will win the project.
Professional Services Completion Date This column displays the date on which your firm completed all professional services.
Project This column displays the project number.
Project Address These columns display the lines of the project mailing address.
Project City This column displays the project's city.
Project County This column displays the project's county.
Project Currency Code This column displays the three-character code for the project currency.
Project Email This column displays the email address for the project.
Project Fax This column displays the fax number for the project location.
Project Manager Name This column displays the name of the project manager for the project, phase, or task.
Project Phone This column displays the telephone number for the project location.
Project State This column displays the project's state.
Project Type This column displays the type of project (for example, Educational, Commercial, Medical, or Federal).
Project Zip Code This column displays the project's ZIP code.
Promotional Project If the project is based on a promotional project, this column displays the project number for the promotional project.
Proposal Manager This column displays the name of the employee designated as the proposal manager for the project.
Referable This Yes/No column indicates whether or not the project can be used as a reference when talking with potential clients.
Reimbursable Allowance

This column displays the expected total amount of reimbursable expenses: Reimbursable Allowance Expense Fee + Reimbursable Allowance Consultant Fee. The amount is in the project's cost currency.

This amount is calculated from the fee entries on the Project Review form of the Projects hub.

Request Date This column displays the date entered into the Request Date for the contract.
Responsibility This column displays the level of responsibility that your enterprise has for the project, such as Prime, Joint Venture, or Consultant.
Revenue Description This column displays the description of the revenue source (for example, JTD Billings, JTD Billings + WIP @, or (Pct Comp*Fee) + JTD Reimb Exp).
Revenue Type

This column displays the revenue type. The revenue type is a code to identify how Vantagepoint calculates revenue for the task, phase, or project. There are six standard revenue types:

  • B: Job-to-date billing
  • M: (Job-to-date direct labor * Multiplier) + Job-to-date reimbursable expenses @ cost rates
  • N: No revenue generation
  • P: Percent complete + Job-to-date reimbursable expenses @ cost rates
  • R: Job-to-date receipts
  • W: Job-to-date billing + Work-in-progress @ billing rates
Row Count This column displays the total number of detail lines for each group, based on the sorting and grouping selections on the Sorting/Grouping tab. If the report groups data at more than one level, this column displays row counts for all grouping levels.
SF Last Update This columns displays the most recent date that the project data was updated based on Salesforce data.
SF Record This column displays the SF record identifier and this column is available if Salesforce integration is enabled in Utilities > Integrations > Salesforce.
Solicitation # This column displays the RFP number for the project as transferred from GovWin IQ.
Source This column displays the source of the project (for example, Client Referral, Consultant Job, or Marketing Campaign).
Stage This field indicates the current stage for the project.
Start Date This column displays the start date for each task.
Status This column displays the status of the project: Active, Inactive, or Dormant.
Step This column displays the step for the project stage. Possible values are Won, Lost, In Pursuit, and Do Not Pursue.
Supervisor Name This column displays the name of the supervisor for the project.
Task This column displays the task number.
Total Compensation

This column displays the total compensation for the task, phase, or project, calculated as follows:

Compensation + Fee Direct Consultant + Reimbursable Allowance

Total Project Cost This column displays the total cost of the project.
Total Project Cost Comment This column displays the comments entered for the total project cost (for example, "Fee only" or "Phase I").
Weighted Fee This column displays the Estimated Fee for the project and weighted based on the probability: Estimated fee x Probability percentage.
Won/Lost Date If the project is in a pipeline stage that is designated as a Won, Lost, or Do Not Pursue stage, this column displays the date on which the project was won or lost or on which you decided not to pursue it further.

If the project is assigned to a stage that is designated as an In Pursuit stage, it does not have a won/lost date.

Won/Loss Notes This column displays notes that relate to winning, losing, or abandoning pursuit of the project.
Won/Lost Reason This column displays the reason why the project was won or lost or why you decided not to pursue it.
