Columns for Accrued Time Report

Field Description
Absence Accrual This column displays the accrual code for the benefit accrual (for example, the code for vacation time or sick leave).
Amount @ Cost Rate / Amount @ Pay Rate

If you are not using Payroll, this column is labeled Amount @ Cost Rate. Vantagepoint calculates the monetary value of the accrued hours as follows: Current accrual balance x Employee’s job cost rate. You specify employee job cost rates on the Accounting tab of the Employees hub.

If you are using Payroll, this column is labeled Amount @ Pay Rate. Vantagepoint calculates the monetary value of the accrued hours as follows: Current balance x Employee's hourly pay. (You specify employee pay rates on the Payroll tab in the Employees hub.)

Change Date This column displays the date on which the number of hours that the employee accrues each year is due to change. You set accrual change dates in the Absence Accruals grid on the Accounting tab in the Employees hub.
Current Balance This column displays the employee's current balance for the accrual. The current balance is calculated as follows:

(Starting balance + Earned hours) - Hours taken

Current Period Earned This column displays the number of hours that the employee earned in the current benefit period. Vantagepoint calculates this value when you process benefit accruals.
Current Period Taken This column displays the number of hours that the employee took in the current benefit period. This value is updated when you process timesheets.
Current Year Earned This column displays the number of hours that the employee earned in the benefit year to date. Vantagepoint calculates this value when you process benefit accruals.
Current Year Taken This column displays the number of hours that the employee took in the benefit year to date. This value is updated when you process timesheets.
Date Range Earned This column displays when the Include Date Range check box is selected on the Options tab of the Accrued Time Report. This column includes all benefit accrual processing postings that have a benefit date that falls between the selected dates in the Include Date Range date fields.
Date Range Taken This column displays when the Include Date Range check box is selected on the Options tab of the Accrued Time Report. This column includes all labor postings that have a transaction date that falls between the selected dates in the Include Date Range date fields.
Hire Date This column displays the date on which the employee was hired.
Home Company Name If you use multiple companies, the name in this column represents the employee's home company. The home company is the company that manages the employee's current timesheet and expense report processes and that pays the employee. You associate each employee with a home company in the Employees hub.
Hours Earned Per Year This column displays the total number of hours that the employee accrues for the benefit year.
Hours Per Day This column displays the number of hours per day that the employee is generally expected to work. You specify this number on the Employment Details tab in the Employees hub.
Job Cost Rate This column displays the rate at which Vantagepoint applies the employee's hours as costs to projects. You specify the employee job cost rate on the Accounting tab of the Employees hub.
Job Cost Type This column displays the employee's job cost type: Hourly or Salary. Vantagepoint uses the job cost type when it calculates the employee’s job cost rate for hours charged to a project.
Organization Name If your enterprise uses organizations, this column displays the organization to which the employee is assigned.
Pay Rate For salaried employees, this column displays the employee's actual pay amount for each payroll period. For hourly employees, it displays their hourly pay rate.
Pay Type This column displays the employee's pay type: Hourly or Salary.
Row Count This column displays the row number of a line item.
Supervisor This column displays the name of the supervisor for the record.
Starting Balance This column displays the employee's balance for the accrual at the beginning of the benefit year. This balance is the number of hours available to the employee on the first day of the benefit year.
Status This column displays the status of the employee: Active, Inactive, or Terminated.
