  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Proposal Log Dialog Box

Use the Proposal Log feature to associate a proposal record with a project record in the Projects hub. You can access the Proposal Log dialog box from a proposal record or a project record.

When you create a Proposal Log entry, Vantagepoint uses the data that you enter on the Proposal Log dialog box to associate the proposal with the Projects hub record. Proposal logs show the proposal name, number, and organization of the connected proposal. If you enter data in the Project field, Vantagepoint adds the connected proposal to the Proposals tab of the Projects hub. This dialog box displays in the Projects hub and in Proposals.

You may be required to submit more than one proposal for a single project. For example, a client may initially request a Statement of Qualification, followed by a Technical and Cost Proposal, and then a Best and Final Offer. If you use the Proposal Log feature, it is easier to keep track of all the proposals that are associated with each project.
