You can view or edit a
Vantagepoint record directly from the Connect for Gmail Context Pane. When you make changes, the record is automatically updated in the
Vantagepoint application.
To view and/or edit a record's details:

Open the record:
- To open the record in the Context Pane with all fields in edit mode, click
and select
Edit [Contact, Firm, or Activity]. Use the Context Pane to update the record's fields and click
Save. The record's information is updated on the Context Pane and in the associated
Vantagepoint hub.
- To view a record's information and edit an individual field, click the
[Contact, Firm, or Activity] Details button on the Context Pane. This displays the record's saved information. Select the
Edit icon next to a field to open that single field in edit mode and then make updates. Click
Save. The record's information is updated on the Context Pane and in the associated
Vantagepoint hub.

If you need to update information that is not included in the Context Pane, click
and select
Open in
Vantagepoint to open the record directly in the
Vantagepoint application.
