View Detail for an Employee

Before you process payroll, you can review details for hours, withholdings, benefit hours, or direct deposit pay. The totals reflect the results that you see after you process the run.

To view detail for your employees:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Payroll > Payroll Payments.
  2. On the Payroll Payments form, do one of the following:
    • In the Payment run search, select a payment run with a status of Selecting Manual or Selecting Auto.
    • Click + New Payment Run and complete the form to create a new payment run.
  3. In the Employee Pay Details grid, hover over an employee name, click at the end of the row, and select one of the following options:

    Hours and Pay The Hours and Pay Details dialog box displays the employee’s current, quarter-to-date, and year-to-date hours (regular, overtime, and secondary overtime) and pay (regular, overtime, secondary overtime, and other).
    Direct Deposit The Direct Deposit Detail dialog box displays the bank routing number, account number, account type, method (and amount/percent, if applicable), amount to be allocated for the current run, and direct deposit status for the employee.
    Benefit Hours The Benefit Hours Detail dialog box displays the earned, taken, year-to-date earned, year-to-date taken, and balance amounts for each of the employee’s accrual codes.
    Contribution Summary The Contribution Summary dialog box displays the current, quarter-to-date, and year-to-date employer payroll contributions. You can also view any limits set up for these contributions.
    Withholding Summary The Withholdings Summary dialog box displays the current, quarter-to-date, and year-to-date amounts for the employee’s withholdings. The dialog box also displays the method, amount/percent, and/or limit for this withholding.
  4. After you review the details, click Close.
